Insurance Overview

Overview:
Insurance is a critical aspect of your franchisee journey. Ensuring that you have the right coverage is not just a sign of professionalism, but it's also mandated for the safety and protection of your business. This section walks you through the process of obtaining the required insurance policy when you become a new franchise owner.

Steps:
  1. Determine Your Insurance Needs: Based on your operation, the required policies needed will differ.

3. Franchisee Responsibility:
    • It's the franchisee's responsibility to get insured. TourScale does not procure insurance on your behalf.
    • Double check that all the information on your insurance policy is accurate.
    • Remember to add any new assets or business operations to your insurance policy, prior to beginning operations. You must be insured at all times.
4. Request Certificate of Insurance (COI):
    • Once you obtain a policy, you will need to request an additional COI with TourScale LLC listed as the certificate holder. The information should read exactly as listed below:
TourScale LLC
211 New Bern Place
Raleigh, NC 27601
*This is required so we as the franchisor, will be contacted if there is any lapse in coverage.
5. Check Your Dashboard:All related information and requirements can be found in the 'Open' section of your "FranConnect" dashboard.
6. Reach Out for Support:
    • While it's the franchisee's responsibility to get insured we are available for guidance.
